Privacy Policy
For iLocker: Time Password · Effective June 14, 2026
iLocker: Time Password ("the App") is a lock-screen app built by GoldenKing Apps whose
passcode can be the current time. It is designed to be private by default: your passcode settings,
recovery details, wallpapers, and any intruder-selfie photos are processed and kept
on your device. The App is free and contains no advertisements.
1. Information We Collect
Processed on your device only (never collected or transmitted to us):
- Your lock settings — lock mode, PIN prefix, and customization preferences. Static PINs,
recovery answers, and recovery PINs are stored only as salted cryptographic hashes; they are
never stored in plain text and never leave your device.
- Intruder-selfie photos, only if you enable the optional intruder-selfie feature after
its disclosure. Photos are captured after repeated failed unlock attempts, saved to a private
in-app gallery on your device, and never uploaded anywhere.
- Wallpapers you choose, including any photo you import from your gallery.
- Fingerprint unlock, only if you enable it, uses the Android biometric system on your
device. The App never sees, stores, or transmits your biometric data.
Collected by us (anonymous, via Google Firebase):
- Aggregate app usage events and analytics, and crash diagnostics, to keep the App stable and improve it.
- Basic device & technical information (device model, OS and app version) tied to non-persistent identifiers.
We do not collect your name, contacts, messages, photos, passcodes, biometric data,
or precise location.
iLocker: Time Password does not display third-party advertisements and does not use advertising identifiers.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide the lock-screen experience — displaying and enforcing your chosen lock mode;
- To power optional features you enable (intruder selfie, fingerprint unlock, custom wallpapers);
- To understand aggregate usage and diagnose crashes so we can improve stability and features.
3. Permissions the App Uses
- Display over other apps (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW) — Required. The lock screen is an
overlay shown when your device screen turns on. Nothing displayed by other apps is read or recorded.
- Run at startup & foreground service — Required so the lock screen re-arms
after a reboot and stays ready while the screen is off. A persistent notification indicates the
service is running.
- Notifications — Used only for the lock service's status notification.
- Camera — optional — Used only for the intruder-selfie feature, and only
after you explicitly enable it. Photos stay in a private on-device gallery. The App works fully
without this permission.
- Phone state (READ_PHONE_STATE) — optional — Used only to hide the lock overlay
while a phone call is ringing or active, so you never miss a call. No call details are stored or
transmitted. The App works fully without this permission.
- Biometric hardware — optional — Enables fingerprint unlock via the Android
biometric system. Biometric data never leaves your device's secure hardware.
- Vibration & battery-optimization exemption — Keypad haptic feedback, and
keeping the lock service alive reliably.
You can review and revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following trusted services, which process limited data under their own privacy policies:
We do not use advertising SDKs, and we do not sell your personal information.
5. On-Device Storage & Data Retention
Your lock settings, hashed passcodes and recovery details, wallpapers, and intruder-selfie photos are
stored locally on your device, protected by Android's app sandbox and encrypted storage where available,
and are excluded from device backups. Uninstalling the App removes this local data. Anonymous Firebase
analytics and crash data are retained only as long as needed for the purposes above and are then deleted
or anonymized.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not
knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal
information, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including salted hashing
of passcodes and encrypted on-device storage. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure,
and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct or
delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, or to request
deletion of any data associated with you, email us at help.knocklock@gmail.com.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the
"Effective" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
